Dr. Erin Krutko Devlin, Associate Professor and American Studies Program Director at the University of Mary Washington, researched and wrote a contextualization of the murals in 2022.

Taylor Coleman
Taylor Coleman ’23 is a History major minoring in Practical Ethics. She was excited to work on this project because she loves learning about Mary Wash’s history but also because she wants to work on digital history projects in the future. A fun fact about Taylor is that she loves to kayak, and you can often find her on the Rappahannock River.

Abby Delapenha
Abby Delapenha ’23 is a Biomedical Sciences major minoring in Practical Ethics. She was excited to work on this project because she wanted to help bring the GW murals to life. A fun fact about Abby is that she has dual citizenship with the United Kingdom.

Eliza Vegas
Eliza Vegas ’24 is a Historic Preservation major minoring in Digital Studies and the GIS certificate. She was excited to help with this project since she feels passionate about making resources more accessible to the public. A fun fact about Eliza is that she loves to crochet.
