There has to be some form of structure in schools.  Maybe there should be a balance of structure with room for adjustments and input from the students.  Certain things have to be structured due to the simple nature of our society and our world.  If we didn’t have some type of structure we would be walking around in circles like the zombies in Dawn of the Dead!!
