I have been thinking about my final project. I want to use flickr, even though I am still such a traditional photographer. I like film and I don’t like manipulating photos. I believe the picture you took is the picture you are stuck with. That is the true meaning of art. Not a picture I manipulate and change to make it better or more pleasing. But, for the sake of this class, I have to incorporate what I love with this new technology. I would like to use pictures of my father, who died of cancer two and a half years ago. I want to find a way to use flickr to honor him. I thought about putting different pictures of him throughout the last twenty years on flickr and then doing something incredible with them, but I am still rolling this around in my brain. Any suggestions from the class?????
I am in class now, trying to figure out everything needed for this class. I wanted to thank everybody who helped me fix my computer and get me started on the way to internet freedom!!
I thought alot about the conversation in class when Dr. Campbell said that he should expect everyone to be interested in certain things. My opinion is different. When I think about the things I am interested in, they are not necessarily the things that involve all of these computer programs. I personally do not spend much time on the computer on any of these types of programs. I don’t think there should be any particular thing that EVERYBODY has to be interested in. That is why humans have free will.
My 4th was great! Sitting outside with my kids, cooking out and toasting Marshmallows. I can’t imagine a better day! My fiance and I took a midnight ride on the four wheeler, enjoying the cooler air and the wind through my hair. Life is good
I have to admit, sitting at a computer is not my thing. But, it never hurts to step outside the box once in a while. It keeps your mind sharp!
